Role:  Head of Commercial Finance and FP&A

Location: Location independent - We offer Choice based working that gives you the opportunity to work from a UK location of your choice, we also offer various Konica Minolta office and Regus office spaces across the UK. You may be required to travel to a customer at the needs of the business.

Package: £87,300 - £95,000 + car allowance + 25% bonus

We are seeking a Head of Commercial Finance and FP&A to join our team at Konica Minolta!

As a Head of Commercial Finance and FP&A at Konica Minolta, you will lead the organisation's financial performance and planning through financial business partnering, financial forecasting, and data analytics. This role drives commercial outcomes through financial evaluation and challenge, while also delivering the annual operating plan, and monthly rolling forecasts. A key part of the role is developing the analytics function to provide data-driven insights that improve business decisions across the organisation.

Key Deliverables in the role will include the following: 

  • Financial Planning - producing the Annual Operating Plan and monthly rolling forecasts
  • Provision of Finance Business Partnering to connect financial performance data and insight, with business unit performance, to drive the leaders to make data-based decisions and adapt plans, at pace
  • Working with Sales & Marketing teams to ensure pricing on deals is realistic and competitive, driving the right outcomes for the business 
  • Procurement Management - establishing cost model frameworks, supplier assessment and drive performance management with key suppliers, to obtain value for money
  • Pricing governance
  • Commissions calculations and modelling - partnering the sales organisation with establishing commissions modelling based on performance and behavioural needs, to ensure affordability and incentivisation for high performance.  Establishing and operating, audit and control measures for ensuring fairness in application of the reward outcomes 
  • Data Analytics leadership
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across multi-disciplinary teams within the functional area, to establish a high-performance culture, developing talent, and ensuring alignment with organisational goals. Accountable for building capability, driving engagement, and delivering results through others.
  • Actively contribute to overall business effectiveness by connecting the Commercial Finance & FP&A teams with the broader business, ensuring its activities align with and enable overall organisational success. Ensuring cross-functional collaboration, breaking down silos, and balancing the Commercial Finance & FP&A team's perspective with advocating for what's right for the overall success of the business

  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
  •  Successful track record in business partnering to drive business performance through leaders
  • Ability to have impact and influence at a senior level
  •  Risk management mindset, balanced with commerciality
  • Customer centric attitude and responsive; knows when to be flexible and when to stand firm
  • Demonstrable experience of collaborating and contributing to organizational change, through establishing connections with other functional leaders to drive improvements, equally both in and outside of Finance
  • Strong sense of ethics
  • Ability to lead, motivate and develop a skilled professional team
