Role: Industrial Printing Technical Support Specialist
Location: Location independent - We offer Choice based working that gives you the opportunity to work from a UK location of your choice, we also offer various Konica Minolta office and Regus office spaces across the UK. This position requires frequent travel within the EMEA region (over 60%)
Package: £38,329 - £62,277 per annum

We are seeking a Industrial Printing Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Konica Minolta!
As an Industrial Printing Technical Support Specialist at Konica Minolta, you will be part of the The JetForce team, a pan-European technical support unit responsible for providing specialist support for the AccurioJet Series (Inkjet Presses) to Konica Minolta NOCs and distributors across the EMEA region. Responsibilities include pre-sales support, installation and commissioning, ongoing product lifecycle support, participation in product launches, and other related activities as required.
Other duties include:
- Deliver post-sales 3rd level technical support to all BEU NOCs and Distributors including escalation management with suppliers such as KMI (Japan) and other third-party vendors.
- Plan and execute system installations across the European field, including site surveys, uninstalls, and reinstalls, as well as supporting international NOCs and Distributors up to handover to
the end customer and subsequent ramp up phase.
- Perform technical analysis and fault diagnosis, leveraging all available resources such as manuals, technical databases, training materials, and external information sources.
- Drive knowledge transfer through documentation, workshops, training, and by leading the “European Community for Industrial Printing Products.”
- Coordinate activities with local organisations, including engine retrofitting and onsite support visits.
- Provide service-related support during product launches.
- Facilitate the sales process for Industrial Print Inkjet systems, including supporting complex demonstrations, setting customer expectations, defining acceptance criteria, conducting site
surveys, and ensuring lifecycle support.
- Analyse and monitor product quality data, and initiate corrective measures to optimise both cost and performance

Technical education or academic studies with a focus on printing technology
• Strong mechanical aptitude combined with knowledge of electrical systems, colour theory, substrates, and finishing processes.
• Proven technical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently, including planning travel schedules and managing work activities with minimal supervision.
• High willingness to travel internationally (over 60%), including extended periods as required by the business.
• Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively in intercultural environments.
Desirable (not essential):
• In-depth knowledge of industrial printing systems and related workflow management.
• Familiarity with inkjet technology, offset printing, and colour management.
• Understanding of pre-press workflows and DTP applications.
• Reasonable physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling and occasional lifting of equipment or materials
